Hi, I'm Tony!
CREATIVE MARKETING DIRECTOR
WHO IS THIS GUY?
In short: An Entrepreneurially Minded Marketer
Over the past 15 years, I have advanced my professional career by tieing myself to no single industry nor any single medium of creative expression. During my time working in both startups and tenured organizations, I have discovered a multitude of techniques and strategies that drive growth. My experience is diverse, from working with consumer goods manufacturers to my immersion in the fastest-growing sport in modern times.
Developing strategies to reach niche audiences while working with and leading cross-functional teams through a battlefield of challenges, gets me out of bed in the morning. When it comes to management, I do not believe in merely telling others what to do, it is all about empowering your team. By getting hands-on during a crunch and showing employees that the leaders are willing to get into the trenches of creative development, we create healthy work environments where everyone succeeds.
In my time as a marketer, I have become a jack-of-all-trades, with a focused purpose to understand as many facets of the marketing business function as possible so that I can lead teams of ambitious, brilliant-minded marketers.
Whether it's developing immersive experiences, designing logos, writing content, or even directing the marketing and operations of a 24-hour ultra-marathon while building the brand from the ground up, there are few objectives that would ever deter from success. Being professionally well-rounded is not only part of my experience, it's part of my passion; the more I learn the more I can help others to grow.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY
What excites me most about marketing is the process of creating a dynamic, integrated, creative marketing campaign. It's a process of discovery, creative exploration, and strategic thought that starts with understanding your target audience, who they are, where they consume media, and what makes them tick. Then use that data to develop a multifaceted approach to capture their attention which, when executed properly, converts them to a customer.
The #SPARTAN30 Campaign
The idea for this campaign all started sitting in the hotel room of Joe DeSena, the founder of Spartan Race, when he asked me how he should end his speech for his TEDx on Beacon Street. With all the intellectuals in attendance, I suggested he challenge the group to do what they do best, test and analyze his theory that the "Burpee" is the absolute best, most efficient exercise. My suggestion was for Joe to have the crowd do 30 burpees a day for the next 30 days and report back with their results. That suggestion erupted into a marketing campaign for Spartan Race that challenged viewers and participants to do 30 burpees a day for 30 days, then each month after, a new exercise would be introduced to help Spartans train and prepare for their first race. This campaign is the biggest in Spartan Race's history, lasting for over 18 months. The #Spartan30 campaign is responsible for over 300,000 new registrations.
A year later I had the great opportunity to produce 30 daily videos for the #Spartan30. This is day one. These 30 videos collectively were viewed over 1.4 million times.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Capturing events, landscapes, product shots, and even employee headshots, photography is a skill I was happily introduced to early on in my marketing career. Out of a personal love for the medium, I have continued to develop this skill even while working in organizations that have not required as much use of this skillset. When it comes to photography, I believe the best camera is the one you have on you.
WEB DESIGN
Self-development and continual growth are foundational to my life's pursuit of knowledge. As part of my quest to learn as many tangible skills as possible, I taught myself web design, and while my early days began with building Macromedia Flash websites in 7th grade, today I am well versed in many modern CMS platforms, including but not limited to, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, HTML/CSS, and always learning more.
VIDEO
Over the years, I have had the unique opportunity to explore the ins and outs of video marketing. Depending on the project, resources, and organizational needs, I have found myself dabbling in many of the varied roles involved in video production. From my time behind the camera, in front of the camera, editing in Premiere Pro, flying drones, directing, producing, storyboarding, and overall video strategies, I have learned what it takes to create video content and continuously learn new ways to incorporate video into marketing initiatives.
